MP Super 5000 Scheme: ₹25,000 Incentive for Meritorious Students
The Government of Madhya Pradesh has been running the Super 5000 Scheme since 2013 through the Madhya Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MPBOCW) to encourage education among children of construction workers.
Under this scheme, students who perform exceptionally well in Class 10 and Class 12 are awarded a one-time incentive of ₹25,000.
Students must secure a place in the Top 5000 state merit list to be eligible for this benefit. For Class 10, inclusion in the state-level top 5000 merit list is required, while Class 12 students must be in the top 5000 merit list of their respective stream (Science, Commerce, Arts).
The benefit is available only to those students whose parents are registered construction workers under MPBOCW before the declaration of results and who have passed the Madhya Pradesh Board examinations.
Applications must be submitted online through the Labour Service Portal www.labour.mp.gov.in along with merit certificates and school principal recommendation.
Students must apply by March 31 of the following year after passing the exam, otherwise they may lose eligibility for the scheme.
This scheme is a major initiative to promote higher education among children of construction workers in Madhya Pradesh.
