MP to Allow Property Registry and Mortgage in Single Visit from August 15
Bhopal, July 2025: In a major ease-of-doing process for property buyers, the Madhya Pradesh government is set to implement a new system under Sampada-2 from August 15, allowing both property registry and mortgage registration to happen in a single visit at the registry office.
Current Process:
Currently, a property buyer must first get a housing loan processed by the bank, then book a separate slot with a service provider for property registration. After submitting the registered deed to the bank, a second slot is booked for mortgage registration. This involves two separate visits and token processes.
What Will Change:
According to Amit Tomar, Inspector General of Registration (MP), under the new system, once the property is registered, the mortgage documents will be registered instantly using the same token number and time slot. A link will be generated immediately for mortgage documentation.
Conditions:
This facility will apply only to residential loans.
Benefits:
- Buyers won’t need to visit the registry office twice.
- Streamlined process saves time and effort.
