Pending Appointments Due to Court Case

Appointments to 14 posts are currently on hold, pending a court ruling on the OBC reservation case. Once the judgment is passed, results for the remaining 13% posts will be declared.

Posts Offered

The selected candidates will be appointed to key administrative positions such as Deputy Collector, DSP, Assistant Director, Finance Officer, Chief Municipal Officer, Additional Assistant Development Commissioner, Excise Inspector, and Commercial Tax Inspector.

Harshita Dave – A Debater Who Excelled

Harshita Dave from Indore secured the 6th overall rank and the 1st among female candidates with 893.75 marks. She has been appointed as Deputy Collector. This was her second attempt; in 2023, she cleared the mains but did not qualify in the interview.

She has a graduation degree in Political Science and Sociology, which helped during preparation. She actively participated in debate competitions and even represented India once, which gave her an edge in the Hindi essay paper. According to Harshita, regularity is more important than studying for long hours daily.

Abhishek Jain – Studied While Working

Abhishek Jain scored 877.25 marks. He completed his B.Sc. from Holkar Science College and M.A. from GACC. He had already been selected for Auditor in 2021 and CEO of Janpad Panchayat in 2022. Despite working, he continued preparing by studying at night, leveraging his past exam experience.

Vikramdev Saryam – Studied 3 Hours Daily

Ranked 12th with 765 marks, Vikramdev credits his success to his parents and teachers. He first attempted the exam in 2018 and reached the interview stage but was not selected. Later, in 2022, he was selected as Excise Sub-Inspector and posted in Jhabua. Despite the job, he studied for 3 hours daily and eventually cracked the exam to become a Deputy Collector.
