National Awards 2024–2025 Announced by MP Department of Culture
Prasoon Joshi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Sonu Nigam among top honorees
On August 8, the Madhya Pradesh Department of Culture announced the recipients of its eight prestigious National Awards for the years 2024 and 2025. These awards recognize outstanding contributions in the fields of art, culture, literature, information technology, and the promotion of the Hindi language.
Director of Culture Department N.P. Namdev stated that the National Mahatma Gandhi Award will be presented to institutions in Pune and Bhopal for their significant social contributions. This award carries a prize of ₹20 lakh, while the other awards include a cash prize of ₹5 lakh each.
