The admission process for the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) for the academic session 2026-27 has begun. The application deadline is January 6, 2026. Important Details about the NIFT 2026 Exam
The written examination for NIFT 2026 will be held on February 8, 2026, in 100 cities across India. The exam will test creativity, general knowledge, and logical ability of the candidates. The General Ability Test (GAT) and the Creative Ability Test (CAT) are compulsory for admission to NIFT.
Exam Pattern
The NIFT 2026 written examination will be conducted in both Hindi and English languages, in a mixed format of Computer Based Test (CBT) and Pen-and-Paper (CAT). Candidates must clear both the GAT and CAT to be eligible for admission.
