The Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the theme of which was Developed India 2047. The focus of the meeting was on making India a developed nation.
Special discussion is going on about 'Developed India 2047'. Only West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee from India Alliance attended this meeting.The approach paper and vision document on Developed India 2047 were discussed in the Governing Council meeting of NITI Aayog.
In the meeting, along with increasing the participation and partnership between the central and state government, improving the delivery mechanism to improve the quality of life for the people living in rural and cities through government intervention was discussed. In this meeting, the role of states in making India a developed nation in 2047 was also discussed.
