Nishad Kumar has created history by winning the silver medal in the men's high jump T47 at the Paris Paralympics. He made his best jump of 2.04 meters, which is also his best jump this season. Nishad from Himachal Pradesh tried to touch the mark of 2.08 meters, but failed in all three attempts.
