NTA Releases JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Exam City Slip

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has activated the exam city intimation slip link for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1. Candidates can check and download their city slip from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in to know their allotted examination city and make travel arrangements in advance.

The exam city slip can be downloaded online by logging in with valid credentials on the official website. Candidates must note that the city intimation slip is not the admit card and is meant only to provide information about the exam city.

As per NTA guidelines, the JEE Main admit cards will be made available four days before the examination date. Since the examination is scheduled to begin on 21 January 2026, the admit cards are likely to be released on 17 or 18 January 2026.

Candidates must download and carry the admit card to the examination center along with a valid photo identity proof. Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without these documents.

The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination will be conducted from 21 January to 30 January 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts each day. The first shift will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
