मंत्रि-परिषद द्वारा शहरों में सिटी बस सेवाओं के बुनियादी ढांचे के विस्तार और ग्रीन हाउस गैसों के उत्सर्जन को कम करने के लिये प्रधानमंत्री ई-बस सेवा योजना के प्रदेश में संचालन का अनुमोदन किया। पीएम ई-बस योजना के अंतर्गतप्रदेश के 6 नगरीय निकायों (भोपाल, इंदौर, ग्वालियर, जबलपुर, उज्जैन एवं सागर) में 552 शहरी ई-बसों का पीपीपी मॉडल के आधार पर संचालन किया जायेगा। योजना में Payment Security Mechanism (PSM) के लिए स्वीकृति के साथ State Level Steering Committee (SLSC) को योजना के लिये स्वीकृतियां, क्रियान्वयन एवं अनुश्रवण के लिये अधिकृत किया गया है।
The Council of Ministers approved the operation of Pradhan Mantri e-Bus SevaYojana in the state to expand the infrastructure of city bus services in cities and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Under PM E-Bus Scheme, 552 urban e-buses will be operated on PPP model in 6 urban bodies of the state (Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain and Sagar). With the approval for Payment Security Mechanism (PSM) in the scheme, the State Level Steering Committee (SLSC) has been authorized to approve, implement and monitor the scheme.
