राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने उच्चतम न्यायालय के पूर्व न्यायाधीश अजय माणिकराव खानविलकर को लोकपाल के अध्यक्ष पद की शपथ दिलाई। भ्रष्टाचार रोधी संस्था के प्रमुख का पद बीते करीब दो साल से खाली था। शपथ ग्रहण समारोह राष्ट्रपति भवन में हुआ। इस समारोह में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और उप राष्ट्रपति जगदीप धनखड़ भी मौजूद थे।
President Draupadi Murmu administered the oath of office to former Supreme Court judge Ajay Manikrao Khanwilkar as Chairman of Lokpal. The post of head of the anti-corruption body was vacant for the last two years. The swearing-in ceremony took place at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar were also present in this ceremony.
