इजराइल-हमास में साढ़े 5 महीने से जारी जंग के बीच पहली बार गाजा में युद्धविराम के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद यानी UNSC में प्रस्ताव पारित हुआ है। रमजान के महीने में हुई इस बैठक के दौरान 15 में से 14 सदस्यों ने प्रस्ताव के पक्ष में मतदान किया, जबकि अमेरिका ने वोटिंग ने से दूरी बनाई।

For the first time amid the 5 and a half month long war between Israel and Hamas, a resolution has been passed in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) for a ceasefire in Gaza. During this meeting held in the month of Ramadan, 14 out of 15 members voted in favor of the resolution, while America abstained from voting.
