केंद्रीय जल मंत्री श्री गजेंद्र सिंह शेखावत ने 09 मार्च, 2024 को नई दिल्ली के एनडीएमसी कन्वेंशन सेंटर में "जल शक्ति अभियान: कैच द रेन" अभियान के पांचवें संस्करण का शुभारंभ किया।"नारी शक्ति से जल शक्ति" थीम वाले इस अभियान में जल संरक्षण एवं प्रबंधन में महिलाओं की अभिन्न भूमिका पर बल दिया गया है। यह अभियान पेयजल एवं स्वच्छता विभाग के सहयोग से राष्ट्रीय जल मिशन, जल संसाधन, नदी विकास और गंगा कायाकल्प विभाग के अंतर्गत आता है। केंद्रीय मंत्री ने दो पुस्तकों "जल शक्ति अभियान 2019 से 2023- द जर्नी फॉर सस्टेनेबल वाटर फ्यूचर" और "महिला शक्ति की 101 झलक: जल जीवन मिशन के प्रिज़्म के माध्यम से"को जारी किया।

Union Water Minister Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat launched the fifth edition of the “Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain” campaign at the NDMC Convention Center in New Delhi on March 09, 2024. The campaign, themed “Nari Shakti to Jal Shakti” The integral role of women in conservation and management has been emphasized. This campaign comes under the National Water Mission, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation in collaboration with the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation. The Union Minister released two books “Jal Shakti Abhiyan 2019 to 2023 – The Journey for Sustainable Water Future” and “101 Glimpses of Women Power: Through the Prism of Jal Jeevan Mission”.
