Sunita and Wilmore went to the ISS in June 2024. Since then they have been staying there. The Crew-9 mission has been launched on September 28 to bring them back. Sunita Williams and her colleague Butch Wilmore have been stranded in space for several months. Now NASA and SpaceX's Crew-9 mission has been launched to bring them to Earth. Under this, NASA's Nick Hague and cosmonaut Alexander Gorbunov of the Russian space agency Roscosmos successfully reached the International Space Station (ISS) on September 29 by traveling in the SpaceX Dragon capsule. Williams and Wilmore will return to Earth in February 2025.
