PAN 2.0 approved, students will get world class journals

The central government took a big decision regarding farmers and agriculture. In the cabinet meeting held on November 25, it was decided to create a National Mission on Natural Farming. Apart from this, the cabinet has decided to start 'One Nation One Subscription' scheme for students. This will provide great help to students of every level. Not only this, under this scheme, there will also be a provision for pooling and common subscription of world class journals.

The Modi cabinet has also taken important decisions regarding railways and power sector. PAN 2.0 has been approved in the cabinet meeting, now the existing system will be upgraded. Apart from this, the government has also approved 3 major projects of railways. Along with this, a 240 MW hydro electric project will be set up in Arunachal Pradesh. It will be set up in Siomi district, which is expected to generate 1 billion units of electricity every year.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the NDA government led by PM Modi is committed to the welfare of farmers. Today a big decision has been taken in this regard, 'National Mission on Natural Farming'. This is a path-breaking decision, as we all know that there is a great need to keep the land free from chemicals in our country... The estimated cost of this project is around Rs 2,481 crore." Vaishnav further said, 'For the youth and students, the biggest decision taken today is - 'One Nation One Subscription'. We all know that research requires high quality publications which are very expensive and so the PM has changed it in a new form. All universities will share their resources. All world-class journals will be brought, their subscription will be taken and then made available to all the educational institutions of the country. It has been estimated to cost around Rs 100 crore. Ashwini Vaishnav said, 'Atal Innovation Mission was started in India to bring the youth forward in innovation and entrepreneurship. Today the Union Cabinet approved Atal Innovation Mission 2.0 with an estimated cost of Rs 2,750 crore We have received information that students face problems as there was no concept of local language in its earlier version, 30 such innovation centers will be opened which will work in local language.'
