PM Modi Announces 6 Guarantees for West Bengal
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sought the blessings of the people of West Bengal for the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory. Addressing a public rally in Haldia, he said that this election is not an ordinary one but a crucial step towards restoring Bengal’s glory and building a developed state.
He stated that the first and most important step in this direction would be the removal of the current government. During his speech, he remembered freedom fighter Satish Chandra Samanta and announced six guarantees for the people of the state.
Six Guarantees Announced
- Law and Order: BJP government will replace fear with trust and restore faith in law and order.
- Accountable Governance: Government systems will be made accountable to serve the people.
- Justice: All cases related to corruption, crimes against women, and rape cases will be reopened.
- Action Against Corruption: Anyone involved in corruption during the current regime will face jail, regardless of position.
- Refugee Rights: Refugees will receive constitutional rights, while illegal infiltrators will be deported.
- 7th Pay Commission: Implementation of the 7th Pay Commission for government employees, teachers, and other staff.
Appeal to Voters
PM Modi urged the people of West Bengal to vote in large numbers on April 23 and ensure the victory of BJP candidates at every booth.
He emphasized the party’s principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (Together with all, Development for all) and assured that along with development, those involved in corruption would be held accountable.
Message of Change
In his address, the Prime Minister said that the people of Bengal have decided to overcome all challenges this time. He described the public enthusiasm as a sign of change and stated that it reflects the possible end of the current government.
