On January 9th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Andhra Pradesh and inaugurated and laid the foundation for projects worth over 2 lakh crore rupees. During this visit, he also participated in a roadshow, which saw a huge crowd of people. Along with the Prime Minister, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan were present.
Prime Minister Modi arrived in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, where he was welcomed by the Governor of the state, S. Abdul Nazeer, CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and other leaders. Following this, a grand roadshow took place on January 9th, where PM Modi, CM Naidu, and Deputy CM Kalyan waved at the crowds from an open vehicle adorned with flowers. The roadshow started from Siripuram Junction and concluded at Andhra University Engineering College grounds.
After launching various development projects, PM Modi addressed a public gathering. This visit marks the first time PM Modi is visiting Andhra Pradesh after the TDP-led NDA government came to power in the state.
Special emphasis was given to the northern region of Andhra Pradesh. Modi virtually inaugurated multiple key projects aimed at promoting sustainable development and infrastructure growth. He launched and laid the foundation for projects exceeding 2 lakh crore rupees.
PM Modi addressed the gathering and emphasized that Andhra Pradesh is a state full of possibilities and opportunities. When these opportunities are realized, the state will develop, and in turn, India will become a developed nation. He expressed his commitment to the development of Andhra Pradesh as a vision for the nation.
He mentioned that Andhra Pradesh aims to become a 2.5 trillion-dollar economy by 2047. To achieve this goal, Chief Minister Naidu's government has launched the "Swarna Andhra 2047" initiative. The central NDA government is working closely with Andhra Pradesh to realize this vision.
PM Modi highlighted that the central government is giving special priority to Andhra Pradesh in several multi-crore projects. He stated that today, over 2 lakh crore rupees worth of projects were inaugurated, which would take Andhra Pradesh's development to new heights.
