PM Modi’s 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' Sets Guinness World Record
On August 4, the Ministry of Education announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative, 'Pariksha Pe Charcha', has secured a place in the Guinness World Records for “the highest number of registrations on a citizen engagement platform in a single month.”
According to officials, the eighth edition of the program recorded over 35.3 million valid registrations. Through this initiative, Prime Minister Modi directly interacts with students, teachers, and parents, aiming to turn the exam season into a celebration of positivity, preparation, and purposeful learning.
In an official event where the Guinness World Record certificate was presented, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated that the initiative has redefined the national approach toward exams by converting stress into a celebration of learning.
The 2025 edition, which marked the eighth year of the campaign, was viewed by over 210 million people across all media platforms.
