Pran Pratishtha of Deities at Ayodhya Ram Mandir on June 5

Ayodhya is preparing for the next grand phase of religious ceremonies at the Ram Mandir. On June 5, 2024, the Pran Pratishtha (ritual consecration) of idols of various deities will take place in the temple complex.

As per the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, idols of Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, Surya (Sun God), Goddess Jagdamba, Goddess Annapurna, and Lord Shiva will be installed in temples built within the temple complex (parikrama). Prior to the main ceremony, all deities will symbolically visit and offer their respects to Ram Lalla.

The consecration celebrations will begin from June 3 with elaborate Vedic rituals and pujas. The main Pran Pratishtha ceremony is scheduled for June 5. The Ram Darbar (court of Lord Ram) has already been established on the first floor of the temple, and the Shivling in the Shiva temple will also be installed shortly.

This is being considered the "Part-2" of the Pran Pratishtha events after the January consecration of Ram Lalla. Devotees and dignitaries are expected to gather again in large numbers to witness this spiritual milestone.
