Prime Minister Narendra Modi made several big announcements during his Odisha visit. He inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several projects costing Rs 3800 crore. He also launched the ambitious Subhadra scheme of the Odisha government under which more than one crore women will be given ten thousand rupees every year. The first installment of this scheme was provided to 25 lakh women.
