Raghav Chadha Appointed Chairman of Rajya Sabha Petitions Committee
Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha, who joined the BJP after leaving the Aam Aadmi Party on May 24, has been assigned a major responsibility in Parliament. He has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Petitions Committee.
Rajya Sabha Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan reconstituted the committee and nominated ten members to it. The appointment of Raghav Chadha has come into effect immediately.
An official notification issued by the Rajya Sabha Secretariat confirmed the appointment. According to the notification, Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan reorganized the Petitions Committee, and the new structure became effective from May 20.
