Railway station work will start in the new year, will be ready by 2027

The construction work of Indore railway station will start from January. The Railway Ministry has approved its tender. The target is to complete the work by 2027. Rs 400 crore will be spent in the first phase. To ensure that rail services are not affected during the construction work of the railway station, MP Shankar Lalwani has asked the officials to prepare Mhow and Laxmibai Nagar railway stations and increase facilities. MP Lalwani said that most of the trains will operate from Mhow and Laxmibai Nagar stations, so the work of increasing facilities at these two stations is already underway, so that passengers do not face inconvenience. The virtual bhoomi pujan of Indore railway station was done by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The new railway station will be built keeping in mind the needs of Indore for the next 50 years. The area of the new station will be 10 times more than the current station.
