Recruitment for 200 Apprentice posts in DRDO begins
DRDO Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Defense Research and
Development Organization (DRDO) has invited applications from eligible
candidates for the posts of Apprentice. A total of 200 posts are to be
recruited. The application process has started. Interested candidates can apply
online by visiting the official website drdo.gov.in.
Under this recruitment drive, 200 posts will be filled in the
organization. The registration process started on September 24 and will end
after 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the
newspaper. The vacancy details are as follows:
Graduate Apprentice: 40 posts
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): 40 posts Trade Apprentice ITI
Pass Out (NCVT/SCVT Affiliation): 120 posts
Educational Qualification
Graduate Apprentice: BE/BTech in [ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical,
Chemical]
Technician Apprentice (Diploma): Diploma in [ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical]
Trade Apprentice ITI Pass Out (NCVT/SCVT Affiliation): Fitter,
Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronics-Mechanic, Electrician,
and COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant)
Candidate age should be 18 years as on 1st August 2024
years.
Only those regular candidates who have completed the qualifying
examinations (Graduation, Diploma and ITI Trade Apprentice having more than 60%
percentage in 2022, 2023 and 2024) are eligible to apply.
Selection Process
Selection will be done on the basis of academic merit/interview, subject to satisfactory verification of documents. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through e-mail mentioned in the application for correspondence. Candidates are required to bring original and self-attested copies of documents during document verification/joining.
