Recruitment process started for 466 posts in Border Roads Organization

BRO Vacancy 2024: Border Roads Organization (BRO) has released a short notice for recruitment to the posts of Draftsman, Supervisor, Turner, Machinist, Operator and Driver. A total of 466 posts will be recruited through this recruitment drive, out of which 226 posts are for unreserved category candidates. 6 posts are reserved for Scheduled Caste candidates and 39 posts are reserved for Scheduled Tribes. Whereas 81 posts will be filled by OBC candidates and 53 posts will be filled by EWS candidates.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

The minimum age limit to apply is 18 years for all the posts. The upper age limit varies, for some posts it is 27 years, and for the rest it is 25 years. Apart from this, applicants must have completed and passed class 10th/matriculation or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized board.

Selection Process

 

A 4-stage selection process has been adopted to select the eligible candidates, they are as follows:

Written Test

 

This is the first stage of the recruitment process. This stage is common for all the posts, candidates will have to appear for a written test of 100 marks to get shortlisted for the second stage.

Physical Test/Skill Test/Driving Test

After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the physical test/skill test/driving test as per the posts they have applied for.

Document Verification

Those who qualify in the previous two stages will have to appear for the document verification round with their original documents like mark sheets, identity proof etc.

Medical Examination

After document verification, the shortlisted candidates will have to undergo medical examination for their final selection.
