Rohit Jain Appointed as New Deputy Governor of RBI
On May 3, Rohit Jain officially assumed charge as the new Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) had approved his appointment on May 2 and announced his selection as the new RBI Deputy Governor.
Rohit Jain has been appointed for a tenure of three years and replaces the outgoing Deputy Governor T. Rabi Sankar.
