RRB ALP Recruitment 2025: Apply for Over 9000 Assistant Loco Pilot Posts

RRB ALP Registration 2025: Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the last date for applying to over 9000 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) vacancies. Eligible candidates can now apply online through the official website.

Important Dates

• Last Date to Apply: 19th May 2025
• Last Date to Pay Application Fee: 21st May 2025 (11:59 PM)
• Correction Window for Form: 22nd May to 31st May 2025

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the RRB ALP Recruitment, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 30 years of age. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories as per government rules.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed Matriculation/SSLC with an ITI certificate in the relevant trade or a 3-year Diploma from a recognized institution.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of four stages:

1. CBT-1 (Computer-Based Test 1): 75 questions to be answered in 60 minutes with negative marking of 1/3.
2. CBT-2 (Computer-Based Test 2): 175 questions to be answered in 2 hours 30 minutes, with negative marking of 1/3.
3. CBAT (Computer-Based Aptitude Test): No negative marking for this test.
4. Document Verification and Medical Test: Final stage after successful completion of all previous tests.

Application Fee

The application fee for RRB ALP Recruitment is as follows:

• General, OBC, and EWS candidates: ₹500
• SC, ST, Women, Transgender, EBC, and Ex-servicemen: ₹250

Note: Candidates who appear for CBT-1 will be refunded ₹250.

How to Apply?

1. Visit the official RRB website at www.rrbcdg.gov.in.
2. Click on "New Registration" and provide the required details to complete registration.
3. After registration, fill in the application form with personal details and educational qualifications.
4. Upload a passport-sized photograph and signature as per the instructions.
5. Make the payment via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
6. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference.
