Railway Recruitment Board is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to 14,298 posts of Technician. Since the last date to apply is very near, interested candidates should immediately visit the official website rrbapply.gov.in. and fill and submit their application form. The last date to apply is 16 October.
Can make amendments in application form till 21 October
If candidates want to make any corrections in their application form after applying, then the modification window for this will be open from 17 to 21 October 2024. Exam will be held between 16 to 26 December
Technician recruitment exam will be held from 16 to 26 December. Candidates will be able to check the details of their exam city 10 days before their exam date. This time the relief news for the applicants of RRB Technician Recruitment is that there will be only one paper in this recruitment. In the year 2018, when recruitment was done for 26000 posts, then two phases of CBT exam were taken. Admit cards of the candidates will be available for download four days before the exam date. The link to view the exam city and date and download travel authority for SC, ST candidates will be made live on the official websites of all RRBs 10 days before the exam date for the respective CEN.
RRB Technician Exam Pattern
Technician Grade- I: 90 minutes will be given for the exam. Candidates will have to solve 100 questions in this. 10 questions will be asked from General Awareness, 15 from General Intelligence and Reasoning, 20 from Basic of Computer and Applications, 20 from Maths, 35 from Basic Science and Engineering. Each question will be of one mark.
Technician Grade-III: The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes, in which 100 questions will have to be solved. In this, 10 questions will be asked from General Awareness, 25 from General Intelligence and Reasoning, 25 from Maths, 40 from General Science. One mark is allotted for each question.
Unreserved category candidates need to score 40%, OBC candidates 30%, SC 30% and ST candidates 25% marks to qualify the exam.
