Samrat Cabinet Expansion: Nishant Kumar to Take Oath Today
The 21-day-old NDA government led by Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary is set for a cabinet expansion on May 7. Around 28 ministers are expected to take the oath of office during the ceremony.
Nishant Kumar, son of former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, is also expected to be inducted into the Samrat cabinet.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the oath-taking ceremony along with several senior BJP leaders, including Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Health Minister JP Nadda.
BJP national president Nitin Naveen, along with chief ministers from several states and Bihar-based Union ministers Chirag Paswan, Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, Jitan Ram Manjhi, and Rashtriya Lok Morcha president Upendra Kushwaha, are also expected to attend the event.
Former Chief Minister and JD(U) national president Nitish Kumar will also be present on the stage during the ceremony.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive at Patna Airport at around 12 noon.
