Communications Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia launched the Sanchaar Saathi app along with the National Broadband Mission 2.0 on January 17. The Sanchaar Saathi app allows users to report mobile phone theft and cyber fraud directly from their mobile phones. The app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

With this app, users can also access information about mobile connections issued in their name. Often, users are unaware of how many mobile connections are active under their name. This feature will help prevent unauthorized mobile connections. The app also enables users to easily verify the authenticity of their mobile handsets. Additionally, users can report suspicious calls and SMS messages through the app.
