Special Session of Madhya Pradesh Assembly on 27 April to Discuss Nari Shakti Vandan

A special session of the Madhya Pradesh Assembly will be held on 27 April 2026, where discussions will take place on 'Nari Shakti Vandan'.

The session will focus on the overall development and empowerment of women. The Assembly Secretariat has issued an official notification regarding this session.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has taken an aggressive stance over the non-passage of the Nari Shakti Vandan Act in the Lok Sabha. In response, protest rallies are being organized across the country.

Various programs are also being conducted to portray opposition parties, including Congress, as anti-women. In this context, the Madhya Pradesh Assembly has scheduled this special session.

During the session, detailed discussions will be held on initiatives related to women’s holistic development and empowerment under the Nari Shakti Vandan initiative.
