SSC Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' Exam Recruitment Notification Released for 2006 Posts

Staff Selection Commission conducts Stenographer Grade 'C' and 'D' exams every year. This time the notification for the exam (SSC Steno Exam 2024) was issued on 26th July. With the release of the notification, the application process has also started. Candidates can apply on the official website ssc.gov.in till the last date of 24th August.

This time the exam will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) for 2006 posts for recruitment to the vacant posts of Stenographer Grade C and Grade D in the ministries, departments and organizations of the Central Government.

Registration:

In such a situation, candidates who want to appear in the Grade C and Grade D Stenographer Recruitment Examination (SSC Steno Exam 2024) to be conducted by SSC, will be able to apply on the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in. To apply, candidates will have to first register through the active registration link in the login section given on the home page of the website and then fill in the allotted registration number and their date of birth details and submit them to register for the exam.

Application Fee:

Candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee of Rs 100 through online mode while applying for SSC Stenographer Exam (SSC Steno Exam 2024). All female candidates and candidates of SC/ST/PwBD/ESM categories do not have to pay the fee.

Educational Qualification and Age:

To appear in SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Exam (SSC Steno Exam 2024), candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board.

Transcription speed of 50 minutes in English and 65 minutes in Hindi is required for Stenographer D.

Transcription speed of 40 minutes in English and 55 minutes in Hindi is required for Group C.

Also, the age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years on August 1 of the examination year. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD) will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit.
