Student Enthusiasm Continues to Rise in Higher Education E-Admission Process
Student participation in the Higher Education Department's e-admission portal for the academic session 2026-27 is steadily increasing. A significant rise in registrations has been recorded over the past few days, reflecting growing interest among students in the admission process.
As of Monday, May 11, 2026, the total number of registrations has reached 110,079. Among these, 71,716 registrations have been received for undergraduate programs, 15,273 registrations for postgraduate programs, and 23,090 registrations for NCTE courses.
Students are also actively participating in the choice-filling process. So far, 75,017 students have selected their preferred colleges and courses. Additionally, the verification process has been completed for 56,240 applications.
To assist students throughout the admission process, the Higher Education Department has established help desks, counseling support, and document verification facilities at all government and private colleges across the state.
Department officials are continuously monitoring the admission process and conducting awareness campaigns, which have helped create a positive environment among students regarding the e-admission system.
Important Dates for Students
The Higher Education Department has appealed to students and parents to complete all admission-related procedures before the last date of registration for the first phase, which is May 15, 2026.

- Postgraduate First Allotment List: May 21, 2026
Students are advised to complete registration, choice filling, and document verification within the stipulated timeline to secure admission in their preferred institutions and courses.
