Iran Opens Hormuz, Trump Warns Over Uranium and Ceasefire

Former US President Donald Trump has once again made a strong statement regarding Iran's enriched uranium. Speaking to journalists aboard Air Force One, he said that the United States will ensure it gains control over Iran’s highly enriched uranium under any circumstances.

Trump warned that if a major agreement is not reached with Iran, the current ceasefire could be terminated. He clearly stated that the blockade would continue and, if necessary, military action, including bombing, could resume.

This statement comes at a time when negotiations between the two countries appear to be stalled rather than progressing.

Recent indirect talks held in Pakistan also failed to produce any concrete outcome. Although backchannel discussions had raised some hopes, both sides still disagree on several key issues.
