V. Anantha Nageswaran's Tenure as Chief Economic Advisor Extended Till March 2027
On February 20, 2025, the Government extended the tenure of Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) V. Anantha Nageswaran by two years, till March 2027. The Cabinet Appointment Committee, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved the extension of his contract until March 31, 2027.
