14 दिसंबर को संसद के दोनों सदनों में 13 दिसंबर को हुए हंगामे का विरोध करते हुए विपक्ष ने सरकार से जवाब देने की मांग की। इस दौरान काफी हंगामा भी हुआ। इसी वजह से कई बार संसद की कार्यवाही को स्थगित करना पड़ा।

राज्यसभा सांसद डेरेक ओ ब्रायन सहित लोकसभा के 14 सांसदों को सदन में कदाचार के लिए निलंबित कर दिया गया क्योंकि विपक्ष निचले सदन में सुरक्षा उल्लंघन पर चर्चा की मांग करता रहा। यह निलंबन शीतकालीन सत्र के शेष समय के लिए बरकरार रखा गया है। निचले सदन से निलंबित होने वालों में बेनी बेहानन, वीके श्रीकंदन, मोहम्मद जावेद, पीआर नटराजन, कनिमोझी करुणानिधि, के सुब्बारायण, एसआर पार्थिबन, एस वेंकटेशन, मनिकम टैगोर, डीन कुरियाकोस, हिबी ईडन, टीएन शामिल हैं।
