इजराइल-हमास जंग के बीच सीजफायर के पहले दिन 24 नवंबर को हमास ने 4 बच्चों सहित कुल 25 बंधकों को आजाद किया। इनमें 13 इजराइली बंधक और 12 थाईलैंड के बंधक थे। इसके बदले में इजराइल ने भी 39 फिलिस्तीनी कैदियों को रिहा किया। अलजजीरा के मुताबिक, इनमें 24 महिलाएं और 15 नाबालिग लड़के हैं। टाइम्स ऑफ इजराइल के मुताबिक, हमास ने सीजफायर के दूसरे दिन छोड़े जाने वाले बंधकों की लिस्ट भी नेतन्याहू सरकार को सौंपी है।
