भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) ने 1 जनवरी को कहा कि 19 मई, 2023 तक प्रचलन में 2000 रुपये के 97.38 प्रतिशत नोट वापस आ गए हैं.

ताजा आंकड़ों से पता चलता है कि प्रचलन में 2000 रुपये के बैंक नोटों का कुल मूल्य, जो 19 मई, 2023 तक 3.56 लाख करोड़ रुपये था, जब वापसी की घोषणा की गई थी. उसमें अब काफी कमी आ गई है.

RBI ने एक बयान में कहा, 29 दिसंबर, 2023 तक 2000 रुपये के नोट का कुल वैल्यू 9,330 करोड़ रुपये है. इससे पता चलता है कि 19 मई, 2023 तक प्रचलन में थे, उसमें से 2000 रुपये के 97.38 फीसदी नोट वापस आ गए हैं.
