मध्य प्रदेश के खिलाड़ियों ने एक बार फिर राज्य का नाम रोशन किया है. राज्य के तीन खिलाड़ियों को 20 दिसंबर को  अर्जुन पुरस्कार (Arjun Award) के लिए चयनित किया गया है. इन खिलाडियों के साथ ही एक कोच को भी द्रोणाचार्य पुरस्कार (Dronacharya Award) दिया जाएगा. इन खिलाड़ियों और कोच को अगले महीने 9 जनवरी को राष्ट्रपति भवन (President House) में आयोजित कार्यक्रम के दौरान राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू (President Droupadi Murmu) द्वारा अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया जाएगा.

मध्य प्रदेश राज्य शूटिंग अकादमी के ओलंपिक खिलाड़ी ऐश्वर्य प्रताप सिंह तोमर (Ashwary Pratap Singh Tomar), पेरा कनोइंग की खिलाड़ी प्राची यादव (Prachi Yadav) और मध्य प्रदेश महिला हॉकी अकादमी की पूर्व खिलाड़ी और वर्तमान में हॉकी इंडिया की स्टार प्लेयर सुशीला चानू (Sushila Chanu) को खेल पुरुस्कार अर्जुन अवॉर्ड से सम्मानित किया जाएगा. जबकि भारतीय हॉकी टीम के कोच शिवेंद्र सिंह (Shivendra Singh) को द्रोणाचार्य पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया जाएगा.

 

एशियन गेम्स में ऐश्वर्य रहे सबसे सफल एथलीट ऐश्वर्य प्रताप सिंह मध्य प्रदेश राज्य शूटिंग अकादमी के स्टार शूटर हैं. वे इस साल के एशियन गेम्स में सबसे सफल भारतीय एथलीट रहे हैं. उन्होंने एशियन गेम्स में दो गोल्ड, एक सिल्वर और एक ब्रॉन्ज मेडल अपने नाम किया. इसके साथ ही ऐश्वर्य प्रताप सिंह ने वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड अपने नाम करते हुए 50 मी रायफल थ्री पोजीशन मेन्स सिंगल इवेंट में सिल्वर मेडल जीता.

प्राची यादव ने पेरिस ओलंपिक के लिए किया क्वालीफाई मध्य प्रदेश की पेरा केनो प्लेयर प्राची यादव ने पेरिस पैरा ओलंपिक के लिए क्वालीफाई कर लिया है. उन्होंने हाल ही में आईसीएफ स्प्रिंट एण्ड पेरा केनो वर्ल्ड चेम्पियनशिप जर्मनी में चौथा स्थान हासिल किया. जिसके बाद उन्होंने पेरिस ओलंपिक के लिए क्वालीफाई किया. प्राची भारत की पहली एथलीट है जिन्होंने पेरिस पैरा ओलंपिक के लिए क्वालीफाई किया है.

 

सुशीला की कप्तानी में ब्रॉन्ज भारत ने जीता ब्रॉन्ज मध्य प्रदेश महिला हॉकी अकादमी ग्वालियर की पहले बैच की बेहतरीन खिलाड़ी सुशीला ने कई उपलब्धियां हासिल की हैं. जर्मनी में हुए वुमन्स हॉकी जूनियर वर्ल्ड कप में भारतीय टीम ने सुशीला की कप्तानी में ब्रॉन्ज मेडल जीता था. 2014 एशियन गेम्स में उन्होंने भारतीय टीम को ब्रॉन्ज मेडल दिलाने में अहम भूमिका निभाई थी. 2016 रियो ओलंपिक में सुशीला भारतीय टीम की कप्तान थीं.

 

भारतीय हॉकी टीम के कोचिंग स्टाफ में शामिल हैं शिवेंद्र

मध्य प्रदेश के शिवेन्द्र सिंह वर्तमान में भारतीय हॉकी टीम के कोचिंग स्टाफ में शामिल हैं. उन्होंने लगभग 160 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुकाबले खेले हैं, इस दौरान उन्होंने लगभग 80 गोल अपने नाम किए.

Prachi Yadav qualifies for Paris Olympics Madhya Pradesh's Para Keno player Prachi Yadav has qualified for Paris Para Olympics. He recently achieved fourth place at the ICF Sprint and Para Canoe World Championships in Germany. After which he qualified for Paris Olympics. Prachi is the first athlete from India to qualify for the Paris Para Olympics. India won bronze under the captaincy of Sushila. Sushila, the best player of the first batch of Madhya Pradesh Women's Hockey Academy, Gwalior, has achieved many achievements. In the Women's Hockey Junior World Cup held in Germany, the Indian team won the bronze medal under the captaincy of Sushila. He played an important role in helping the Indian team win the bronze medal in the 2014 Asian Games. Sushila was the captain of the Indian team in the 2016 Rio Olympics. Shivendra is included in the coaching staff of the Indian hockey team. Shivendra Singh of Madhya Pradesh is currently included in the coaching staff of the Indian hockey team. He has played about 160 international matches, during which he scored about 80 goals.
