Assistant Director & Principal Group-2 Exam – 22 January 2026

The Technical Education, Skill Development & Employment Department has announced vacancies for the positions of Assistant Director and Principal (Group-2). The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has completed all preparations for the Assistant Technical Exam 2025. Admit cards are now being issued to the candidates, which can be downloaded from the official website.

The examination will be conducted on 22 January 2026 in Indore and Bhopal. According to officials, all exam guidelines have also been released to ensure candidates do not face any inconvenience.

The advertisement for this recruitment was released on 14 November 2025. A total of 17 posts have been announced: 1 Deputy Director, 14 Principal Group-2, and 2 Assistant Director positions. It is noteworthy that some categories, such as Deputy Director (General, ST, OBC, and EWS) and Assistant Director (General, SC, and EWS), have no vacancies.

The application process was open from 1 December to 31 December 2025. Over 600 candidates registered for the 17 posts. Educational qualifications required for all three positions include a degree or diploma in engineering. Candidates were also required to submit essential documents such as employment registration, caste certificate, domicile certificate, income certificate, etc.

The exam will be conducted offline. Candidates will mark their answers on an OMR sheet. There will be two papers: one on General Studies and another on Engineering, Skill Development, and Vocational Training. The exam timing is from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Candidates must carry a photo ID proof. The commission has issued guidelines allowing candidates to bring the e-admit card, photo ID, pen, passport-size photo, and a transparent water bottle to the exam center. Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and all electronic devices are strictly prohibited. Candidates are advised to reach the exam center on time and follow all rules and regulations.
