How to become a Physiotherapist
It is worth noting that to get admission in the degree course of Physiotherapy, one must have minimum 50 % marks in 12th with Physics , Chemistry and Biology . To become a Physiotherapist, one can get a Physiotherapist degree from any recognized university which is called BPT. Its duration is four years. The post graduation degree of physiotherapist course is called MPT. Its duration is two years. Diploma in physiotherapy can also be done . Under Physiotherapy , subjects like physiotherapy , human body , cardiovascular are taught . At present, there are about 350 BPT and about 200 MPT institutes in the country. Since practical is very important in physiotherapy course . It is related to human health care. Therefore, online or distance mode courses are not recognized in this field. It is also important that admissions are given in physiotherapy courses by conducting entrance exams by many universities and various medical institutes of the country.
