झारखंड में सियासी उलटफेर के बीच चम्पाई सोरेन ने 2 फरवरी को राज्य के 12वें मुख्यमंत्री के तौर पर शपथ ली। राज्यपाल सीपी राधाकृष्णन ने उन्हें पद व गोपनीयता की शपथ दिलाई। उनके साथ ही कांग्रेस के आलमगीर आलम और राजद के सत्यानंद भोक्ता को भी मंत्री पद की शपथ दिलाई गई। राज्य की कमान संभालते ही चम्पाई ने कैबिनेट की बैठक कर कई निर्णय लिए।

Amidst political upheaval in Jharkhand, Champai Soren took oath as the 12th Chief Minister of the state on 2 February. Governor CP Radhakrishnan administered him the oath of office and secrecy. Along with him, Alamgir Alam of Congress and Satyanand Bhokta of RJD were also sworn in as ministers. As soon as he took command of the state, Champai held a cabinet meeting and took many decisions.
