बच्चों में मिस्ट्री निमोनिया से चीन के अस्पताल फुल
चीन में फैली रहस्यमय बीमारी से दुनिया दहशत में है। 26 नवंबर की मीडिया रिपोर्ट्स के अनुसार उत्तरी चीन के अस्पताल सांस की बीमारी से जूझ रहे बच्चों से भरे हुए हैं। डॉक्टरों से सलाह लेने के लिए ही घंटों इंतजार करना पड़ रहा है। बीजिंग में 7000 बीमार रोज पहुंच रहे हैं। मेडिकल इन्फ्रास्ट्रक्चर चरमराने लगा है। पीड़ित बच्चों में फेफड़ों में जलन, तेज बुखार और जुकाम जैसे लक्षण दिख रहे हैं। बीमारी को फैलने से रोकने के लिए स्कूलों में छुट्टी कर दी गई। चीन के हेल्थ कमिशन का कहना है कि फेफड़ों के इस संक्रामक मर्ज के पीछे कई पैथोजन्स हैं। इन मामलों में इजाफे के पीछे इन्फ्लुएंजा बड़ा कारण है। साथ ही, राइनोवाइरस, माइकोप्लाज्मा निमोनिया और रेस्पिरेटरी सिंसाइटियल वायरस भी फैल रहे हैं। भारत सरकार ने चीन से आ रही रिपोर्ट्स को देखते हुए राज्यों को अलर्ट किया है। उनसे सभी एहतियाती उपाय करने को कहा गया है। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय ने राज्यों को तुरंत स्वास्थ्य तैयारियों की समीक्षा करने की सलाह दी है।
मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा कि उसने ज्यादा सतर्कता बरतते हुए सांस संबंधी बीमारियों से निपटने के लिए प्रारंभिक उपायों की सक्रिय रूप से समीक्षा करने का फैसला किया है। सभी राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों को लिखे पत्र में, स्वास्थ्य सचिव ने कहा है कि बिस्तरों की उपलब्धता, इन्फ्लूएंजा के लिए दवाओं और टीकों, मेडिकल ऑक्सिजन, एंटीबायोटिक्स, निजी सुरक्षा उपकरण, टेस्ट किट, ऑक्सिजन प्लांट और वेंटिलेटर की कार्यक्षमता आदि की समीक्षा की जाए।

They have been asked to take all precautionary measures. The Union Health Ministry has advised states to immediately review health preparedness. The ministry said in a statement that it has decided to proactively review initial measures to combat respiratory diseases out of an abundance of caution. In a letter to all states and union territories, the Health Secretary has said that the availability of beds, medicines and vaccines for influenza, medical oxygen, antibiotics, personal protective equipment, test kits, oxygen plants and functionality of ventilators etc. should be reviewed.
