DAVV Exam Timetable 2026: Third and Fourth Year Exams May Extend Till April 12
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore has released the timetable for undergraduate (UG) annual examinations. UG third-year exams will commence from March 5, while UG second-year exams will begin on April 16. The timetable for first and fourth-year students is yet to be announced, though first-year exams are expected to start on May 8 or 9.
Change in Examination Policy
The university has revised its examination policy, ensuring that timetables are now released at least one and a half months before exams. Following this policy, the UG second-year timetable was announced nearly two and a half months in advance.
Over Two Lakh Students to Appear
Annual examinations will be conducted from March 5 to June 15, with approximately 2.25 lakh students expected to appear. Third-year exams will be held first, and sources indicate that fourth-year exams will also be conducted in March, with the timetable to be released soon.
Exam Controller Dr. Ashesh Tiwari confirmed that detailed planning for all examinations has been completed.
Possible Date Changes Due to CUET-PG
The university has prepared for potential changes in third and fourth-year exam dates due to the CUET-PG examination, which may be conducted between March 13 and March 31. As thousands of DAVV students appear for CUET-PG, exams will likely not be scheduled during these dates. Remaining papers may be conducted between April 1 and April 15.
Results Within One Month
The university administration has ensured that results will be declared within 21 days to one month after the completion of exams. If third and fourth-year exams conclude by March 31, results will be declared by April 30. If exams continue until April 15, results will be announced by May 10.
Second-year results are expected by May 1, while first-year results will be declared by June 30.
As Per Academic Calendar
Dr. Ashesh Tiwari stated that examinations and results will be conducted in accordance with the Higher Education Department’s academic calendar. The university aims to begin releasing third and fourth-year results from May onwards.
Final Chance for Non-NEP PG Students
DAVV has provided a final opportunity for non-NEP postgraduate (PG) first-semester students. The ATKT examinations for PG first semester will be conducted from February 3 to February 9. The timetable has already been released for MA, MCom, MSc, and MHSc courses.
This will be the last opportunity for students under the non-NEP system, as all future examinations will be conducted only under the New Education Policy (NEP).
