फिच ने 22 दिसंबर को एक रिपोर्ट में कहा कि 2024-25 में 6.5 प्रतिशत की जीडीपी वृद्धि के साथ भारत दुनिया के सबसे तेजी से बढ़ने वाले देशों में एक होगा। रेटिंग एजेंसी ने चालू वित्त वर्ष 2023-24 के लिए सकल घरेलू उत्पाद की वृद्धि दर 6.9 प्रतिशत आंकी है। फिच ने अपनी रिपोर्ट में कहा, 'चालू वित्त वर्ष में सीमेंट, बिजली और पेट्रोलियम उत्पादों की मांग मजबूत बनी रहेगी। भारत के बढ़ते बुनियादी ढांचे के खर्च से स्टील की मांग को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। कार की बिक्री में भी वृद्धि जारी रहेगी।'
