Four Indian Schools Named Finalists for World’s Best School Prizes
On 18 June, four Indian schools — one each from Haryana, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh — were named among the top 10 global finalists for the prestigious World’s Best School Prizes across various categories. The awards, organised in the UK by T4 Education, honor schools contributing significantly to societal progress. Winners will be announced in October.
The initiative, launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, celebrates schools driving community collaboration, environmental action, innovation, resilience, and healthy living. T4 Education founder Vikas Pota highlighted that in a world reshaped by AI, a human-centered education is more vital than ever amidst climate change, conflict, and poverty.
