केंद्र सरकार त्योहारी सीजन के मद्देनजर सोमवार से सस्ती दर पर भारत ब्रांड आटा बेचेगी। आटे की कीमत 27.50 रुपये प्रति किलो होगी। इसकी शुरुआत केंद्रीय मंत्री पीयूष गोयल करेंगे। सरकार ने 29.50 रुपये प्रति किलो मिलने वाले आटे में दो रुपये घटाए हैं। अभी खुला आटा 35 रुपये और ब्रांडेड आटा 40 से 55 रुपये प्रतिकिलो मिल रहा है। सरकार सस्ते आटे की बिक्री नैफेड, एनसीसीएफ, केंद्रीय भंडार और मदर डेयरी के सफल आउटलेट के माध्यम से 10 और 30 किलो की पैकिंग में करेगी। राष्ट्रीय उपभोक्ता सहकारी संघ (एनसीसीएफ) इसकी नोडल एजेंसी है। भारतीय खाद्य निगम ने केंद्रीय कोटे से ढाई लाख टन गेहूं आवंटित किया है। सरकार का मकसद खुदरा मूल्यों को नियंत्रित करना है। सरकार पहले ही उपभोक्ताओं को 25 रुपये प्रतिकिलो प्याज और 60 रुपये प्रतिकिलो भारत दाल उपलब्ध करा रही है। चीनी और अन्य आवश्यक खाद्य पदार्थों की कीमतों पर निगरानी की जा रही है।

The central government of India will sell India Brand wheat flour (atta) at a reduced price starting from Monday, in light of the festive season. The price of wheat flour will be 27.50 rupees per kilogram. This initiative will be launched by the Union Minister, Piyush Goyal. The government has reduced the price of wheat flour available at 29.50 rupees per kilogram by 2 rupees. Currently, open-market wheat flour is priced at around 35 rupees, while branded wheat flour ranges from 40 to 55 rupees per kilogram. The government will sell affordable wheat flour through various outlets, including NAFED (National Agricultural Cooperative Marketing Federation of India), NCCLF (National Consumer Cooperative Federation of India), central stores, and Mother Dairy outlets, in 10 and 30-kilogram packaging. The National Cooperative Consumer Federation of India (NCCF) is the nodal agency for this initiative. The Food Corporation of India has allocated 2.5 million tonnes of wheat under the central quota. The government's objective is to control retail prices. The government has already been providing onions at 25 rupees per kilogram and Indian lentils (dal) at 60 rupees per kilogram to consumers. Prices of sugar and other essential food items are also under scrutiny by the government.
