8 नवंबर को क्यूएस एशिया यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग जारी की गई है। रैंकिंग में भारत ने चीन को पीछे छोड़ दिया है। इस लिस्ट में भारत के 148 विश्वविद्यालय शामिल किए क्यूएस एशिया यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग में भारत ने चीन को पीछे छोड़ दिया है। इस सूची में जहां इस बार के भारत के 148 विश्वविद्यालय शामिल किए गए हैं, वहीं चीन के 133 और जापान के 96 विश्वविद्यालय हैं। पिछली रैंकिंग के मुकाबले भारत के विश्वविद्यालयों की संख्या में वृद्धि हुई है। इस बार पिछले साल की तुलना में 37 विश्वविद्यालय ज्यादा हैं।

भारत ने आउटबाउंड स्टूडेंट मोबिलिटी (विदेश जाने वाले छात्रों) में भी उपलब्धि हासिल की है। अमेरिका में शिक्षा प्राप्त करने वाले छात्रों की संख्या में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि के साथ भारत 15 वर्षों में पहली बार चीन से आगे निकल गया है। खास बात ये है कि 2014 में क्यूएस एशिया यूनिवर्सिटी रैंकिंग में मात्र 16 भारतीय संस्थान ही शामिल थे, लेकिन अब यह संख्या डेढ़ सौ के करीब जा पहुंची है। यानी पिछले कुछ वर्षों में उच्च शिक्षा में उल्लेखनीय सुधार देखा गया है। रैंकिंग में सबसे ज्यादा यूनिवर्सिटी भारत की 8 नवंबर को जारी रैंकिंग के मुताबिक, इस सूची में सबसे ज्यादा यूनिवर्सिटी भारत की हैं। म्यांमार, कंबोडिया और नेपाल ने पहली बार रैंकिंग सूची में जगह पाई है। पिछले साल की तरह आईआईएससी बेंगलुरु, दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय और आईआईटी बॉम्बे, दिल्ली, मद्रास, खड़गपुर और कानपुर ने एशिया के शीर्ष 100 संस्थानों में स्थान हासिल किया है। देश में आईआईटी बॉम्बे ने अपना शीर्ष स्थान बरकरार रखा है।

IIT Bombay has retained its top position in the country.
