वैश्विक रेटिंग एजेंसी एसएंडपी ने भारत की आर्थिक वृद्धि की संभावनाएं मध्यम अवधि में मजबूत रहने का अनुमान जताते हुए 16 नवंबर को कहा कि वित्त वर्ष 2023-24 से लेकर 2025-26 तक देश के सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) में सालाना 6-7.1 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि होगी। एसएंडपी ग्लोबल रेटिंग्स ने अपनी एक रिपोर्ट में कहा कि स्वस्थ कॉरपोरेट बही-खातों और अन्य संरचनात्मक सुधार होने से बैंकों का फंसा कर्ज मार्च, 2025 तक कुल अग्रिम के तीन-3.5 प्रतिशत तक घट जाएगा। इसके अलावा भारत में ब्याज दरों में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि की संभावना नहीं होने से बैंकिंग उद्योग के लिए जोखिम भी सीमित होने का अनुमान जताया गया है।
