मुख्यमंत्री डा. मोहन यादव ने 19 जनवरी को देवास में तीन दिवसीय संगीत समारोह का शुभारंभ किया। पं. कुमार गंधर्व की जन्म शताब्दी कार्यक्रम में मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा- जहां दो देवियों का वास उसका नाम देवास। ख्यात शास्त्रीय गायिका कलापिनी कोमकली ने बताया कि वर्ष 2024 पद्मविभूषण पं. कुमार गंधर्व का शताब्दी वर्ष है। इस उपलक्ष्य में कुमार गंधर्व प्रतिष्ठान द्वारा तीन दिवसीय सांगीतिक आयोजन किया जा रहा है। 8 अप्रैल 2023 से अप्रैल 2024 तक कुमार गंधर्व प्रतिष्ठान द्वारा देश के कई शहरों में शताब्दी के कार्यक्रम बड़े पैमाने पर आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं।

अब तक मुंबई, पुणे, कोल्हापुर, बेंगलुरू, भोपाल, औरंगाबाद, दिल्ली, वाराणसी इत्यादि शहरों में कार्यक्रम किए गए हैं। इसी कड़ी में 19, 20 और 21 जनवरी को देवास में आयोजन होने जा रहा है। इसमें देश-विदेश से कुमारजी को, उनके संगीत को चाहने वाले और विशेष रूप से देवास जो कुमारजी की कर्मस्थली रही हैं में इस आयोजन के गवाह बनने और उन्हें अपनी आदरांजलि देने के लिए लोग आने वाले हैं।

So far, programs have been organized in cities like Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Aurangabad, Delhi, Varanasi etc. In this series, an event is going to be organized in Dewas on 19, 20 and 21 January. In this, people from India and abroad are going to come to see Kumarji, his music lovers and especially from Dewas, which was Kumarji's place of work, to witness this event and pay their respects to him.
