दिल्ली और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में बढ़े वायु प्रदूषण को लेकर केंद्र सरकार ने 21 नवंबर को सुप्रीम कोर्ट को उसकी ओर से दस नवंबर को दिए गए आदेश के पालन को लेकर को स्टेटस रिपोर्ट सौंपी है। जिसमें बताया है कि पराली जलने की अब तक कुल घटनाओं में 88 फीसद से ज्यादा मामले अकेले पंजाब में रिपोर्ट हुए है। वहीं पराली जलने में दूसरे नंबर अब हरियाणा की जगह उत्तर प्रदेश आ गया है। जहां इस बार 17 नवंबर तक पराली जलने के 2281 मामले रिपोर्ट किए गए है।

केंद्र सरकार ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट को 21 नवंबर को सौंपी अपनी स्टेटस रिपोर्ट में बताया है कि पराली जलाने को लेकर राज्यों का यह रवैया तब हैजब उन्हें अब तक इससे निपटने के लिए करीब चार हजार करोड़ की मदद दी जा चुकी है। इनमें से करीब 3333 करोड़ रुपए पराली नष्ट करने वाली मशीनों की खरीदी के दिए गए थे। इसके तहत अब तक करीब 2.73 लाख मशीनें खरीदी जा चुकी है।

At the same time, Uttar Pradesh has now come second in stubble burning instead of Haryana. This time till November 17, 2281 cases of stubble burning have been reported. The Central Government, in its status report submitted to the Supreme Court on November 21, has said that this attitude of the states towards stubble burning is despite the fact that till now they have been given assistance of about Rs. 4 thousand crores to deal with it. Out of these, about Rs 3333 crore was given for the purchase of stubble destroying machines. Under this, about 2.73 lakh machines have been purchased so far.
