दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश सतीश चंद्र शर्मा, राजस्थान उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश ऑगस्टीन जॉर्ज मसीह और गौहाटी उच्च न्यायालय के मुख्य न्यायाधीश संदीप मेहता को शीर्ष अदालत के न्यायाधीश के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया। सुप्रीम कोर्ट कॉलेजियम ने 6 नवंबर को उनके नामों की सिफारिश की थी। बता दें कि इन तीनों की नियुक्ति के साथ ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट में जजों की संख्या अब 34 हो चुकी है।

आइए इन तीनों जजों के इतिहास पर एक नजर डालें। जस्टीस सतीश चंद्र शर्मा जस्टीस सतीश चंद्र शर्मा दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस रह चुके हैं। इसके अलावा वो तेलंगाना उच्च न्यायायल में भी चीफ जस्टिस की भूमिका निभा चुके हैं। 30 नवंबर 1961 को जन्मे सतीश चंद्र शर्मा ने वकालत को अपना करियर बनाया। इसके बाद वो अपनी मेहनत और कौशल से काफी कम उम्र में भी मध्य प्रदेश में वकील बन गए। उन्हें 18 जनवरी 2008 को एमपी हाईकोर्ट का न्यायाधीश नियुक्त किया गया। जस्टिस ऑगस्टिन जॉर्ज मसीह राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट में चीफ जस्टिस का पद संभाल चुके जस्टिस ऑगस्टिन जॉर्ज मसीह पंजाब और हरियाणा हाईकोर्ट के जज भी रह चुके हैं। 30 मई 2023 को उन्हें राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस के रूप में पदोन्नीत किया गया। जस्टिस संदीप मेहता जस्टीस संदीप मेहता गुवाहाटी हाईकोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस रह चुके हैं। 30 मई 2011 को वो राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट के जज बने थे। वह इस साल 15 फरवरी से गुवाहाटी हाईकोर्ट के चिफ जस्टिस हैं। बता दें कि जस्टिस मेहता ऑल इंडिया हाईकोर्ट जजों की सीनियॉरिटी लिस्ट में 23वें नंबर पर हैं।

Justice Satish Chandra Sharma: Justice Satish Chandra Sharma has previously served as the Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court. Additionally, he has held the position of Chief Justice in the Telangana High Court. Born on November 30, 1961, Satish Chandra Sharma started his career in law and became a successful lawyer in Madhya Pradesh at a young age. He was appointed as a judge in the Madhya Pradesh High Court on January 18, 2008. Justice Augustine George Masih: Justice Augustine George Masih, who previously served as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court, had earlier been a judge in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. He assumed the position of Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court on May 30, 2023. Justice Sandeep Mehta: Justice Sandeep Mehta, who served as the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court, was previously a judge in the Rajasthan High Court. He became the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court on February 15th this year. It's worth noting that Justice Mehta is ranked 23rd in the seniority list of all India High Court judges.
